Michigan’s Summer is finally fast-approaching. Winter seemed to be never-ending and now it seems as though we’ve skipped right over the Spring-to-Summer transition and the heat is here to stay. With Summer upon us, we’re dreaming of Lake Time, Boat Rides, Camping and Grilling Out. This has got us thinking about our Annual Summer BBQ. This year we are hosting our 7^th Annual RMC Summer BBQ at Patriarche Park in East Lansing.

This family-friendly BBQ is our way of showing our appreciation to those that associate with our firm. Each year we continuously have a great time catching up, mingling and playing lawn games with everyone that comes out. If you’re able to join us on Wednesday, June 20^th at 5:00pm, you will also be able to be a part of something new and exciting that we’re introducing this year.

Coming off of Memorial Weekend and honoring the brave lives lost in Service, we’ve still got Veterans on our mind. In support of our country’s Veterans, we will be hosting our first Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser in conjunction with the BBQ to raise money for Vets Returning Home of Roseville, MI. Vets Returning Home is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping our Veterans transition into stable lives. 100% of proceeds along with a match from RMC will be donated to Vets Returning Home. The Cornhole Tournament format will consist of two-person teams in a win-and-advance style play. So partner up with your colleagues, friends or family and get your throwing arm ready for a fun, competitive Cornhole Tournament to support our Veterans! Donation to play is $30 per team ($15 per person).

Aside from the Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser, you can expect a BBQ buffet with Cheeseburgers, Hamburgers, Hot dogs and Veggie burgers grilled to perfection by our very own Grill Chef, Jamie Lytle. You can enjoy traditional barbecue dishes to accompany your meal, along with dessert and refreshments. There will be several other lawn games including KanJam, Ladder golf and many more!
